Coining proudly announces the opening of a company sales office in Shenzhen, China and the appointment of Michael Chen as Sales Manager – South China with responsibility for the company's direct sales of solder preforms and other stamped products in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province and the surrounding areas. Michael reports to Wang Ping, Coining's General Manager Asia Pacific who relocated from the company's Saddle Brook, NJ headquarters and manufacturing facility to China in 2004 to establish the company's representative office in Beijing.
"We are exceptionally pleased to have recruited Michael to establish Coining's Shenzhen sales office," comments Wang Ping. "Michael has good sales experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically with leading companies in South China. He also possesses several years experience as a buyer, which makes it easier for him to understand our customers' concerns."
Michael previously worked as a regional sales manager for Tomato LSI, a Korean manufacturer of LCD drivers. He started his career in purchasing with Delta Networks, then served as a project sourcing leader for Elcoteq. He earned a bachelor's degree in English from Sichuan International University.
