"A customer called on a Thursday. He needed a particular solder preform made of a gold-based alloy that we had never produced before. The Coining team swung into action. We cast and rolled the alloy on Friday and Saturday, designed and manufactured the stamping tooling on Saturday and Sunday, then stamped, inspected, packaged and shipped parts on Monday. The customer received them on Tuesday morning. He told us that no one else could possibly have done this. As a result of our effort, this customer is now one of Coining's largest and most loyal."
